How does it work
Transactions are settled primarily in the form of trade credits (Trade points). Each trade credit is equal in value to the local Jordanian Dinar currency value.
How does it work
A restaurant wishes to "barter" for 2,000 JOD worth of printing using meals. No print house would ever want 2,000 JOD in meals from the one restaurant, however, by selecting a THINK BARTER NETWORK member print house, the restaurant pays the print house with 2,000 Trade Points. The print house TB account is "credited" and the restaurant TB account "debited", so the restaurant now owes 2,000 TB point in meals to the THINK BARTER NETWORK, NOT the print house. Which will be repaid by other THINK BARTER NETWORK members visiting the restaurant to eat. Hence, the restaurant paid for its printing needs with meals, using an interest-free "credit line" and at a cost close to 30% of replacement good cost.

Looking back at the previous example. The print house can now use the TB Trade points earned to buy office furniture, advertising, car repairs, stationery, courier services, color separations, accounting, and legal services. These are all things that the print house would normally pay for in cash. By using their THINK BARTER NETWORK trade points, the print house conserves his cash and benefits from the extra business.
